Dissolve as much sugar as you can in a pan of water, bring to the boil and
add more sugar. Boil this still further 'till it's almost boiled dry and
starts going sticky. Stir in as many crushed peanuts as you can without it
going too dry. Spread mixture about half a cm thick on greaseproof
paper/a metal plate & as it sets, chop it into card sized diamonds.
You get a fairly solid peanut cake thing. Try adding a little flour when you
mix in the peanuts to soften it?
ps. This trashes your pan, so pan bashing it is a good threat!
